How to Get more Acorns in Ice Age Village?
The acorns are very useful and, fortunately, there are tons of ways to win. You can buy them directly in the shop, but if you know your Village Ice Age well enough, you can get one free!
Where could an acorn hide from Scrat in the Ice Age Village? The answer is a pile of snow! As soon as you see them, make sure they cleared, because there is a chance they will drop acorns. Another way to get acorns is to watching movies in your Movie Theater, so be sure to head to the movies often. And don’t forget to keep an eye on your collections. Redeeming them will make you go nutz with acorns!

You can buy!! the land by touching/hold the space you like. once you get further the land gets more expensive though.
Getting the free acorns is much more difficult!

If you change the date on your iPad, you can get daily bonus more often and also silver coins to play the fish game. go to settings, change the date. Best go backwards in time,then go forwards. It can also increase the time for eggs hatching but be careful, sometimes the eggs wander off. hope this helps.

What I did and I got acorns and mostly money very quick was I put my time and dye one day forward and checks in on ice age village to see if I can collect from everything but don’t collect go back to time and date settings and put your date back one year than always go on time and date and klick for the next day….

I love this game but I am landlocked at level 44 waiting to buy land at 30,ooo,ooo, refuse to buy with cash. I also need acorns and hearts. one of my goals is 2,000 hearts now how can I get that many when I have a 10 friend limit it will take forever. have learned to add and remove friends to get hearts and squrriel more each day. have also learned to play scrat game at least 3 times in a row to get a good prize off of him.
To get hearts while in friends mode, keep tapping the heart when it is pink at the top of the screen. Nothing changes while you do this, but when you go back you will find your heart amount increase and then you can redeem in the shop. I have over 4,000 just tapping it while watching t.v. Hope that helps.

When I hit the pink hearts, they always turn gray and then a timer is put underneath. Where do they stay pink?
Apparently that was a glitch that has since been fixed. Too bad, since that was a lovely way to get hearts. [I still have nearly 4k even after getting a full ape family, 6 soccer fields, a kitchen, and several hundred palm trees.
To get hearts now, you must get friends; you can get a heart every day from visiting your friends and clicking the heart. There is a limit to the number of people you can “add as friend” w/o connecting to facebook or GameLoft Live, though this limit increases with the levels. If you add friends through f/b or GL, I don’t know of any limit. Every friend you add gets you an acorn; every 24 hours you can give them a gift (random, but includes acorns sometimes), find Scrat in their village (for gold), and send them a heart (which also gives you a heart).
So far, I’ve had friends via GL for a few days and have not seen any notifications of receiving any gifts. Today I read on the official IAV forum that you can only send/receive gifts with people who are on the same platform (Android, iOS). This may be why I don’t have any gifts — my “friends” are on a different platform.
Get your highest daily paying animal, I have 4 T-Rex’s. Put them in the center and keep buying golden mushrooms (7% bonus) until you have 3 layers all the way around. I threw in some palm trees (15% bonus) in the back. I get 107,445 every day from it. I will have my 4th crab today and will make even more with that family. Then change your dates couple of times a day and money won’t be a problem anymore.

Click on the acorn at the top that shows how many u have an it will bring up shop, click the free acorns button. Tap joy is the best 4 earning acorns by downloading games. U can then delete games if not wanted. Also the tapping on grey hearts works but u must be connected to Internet when u do it.

Ive figured out a way to get free tokens for Kung Fu Scrat and Acorns too….
When i collect my coins from buildings and animals and clear my snow piles, i dont exit the game, i leave the screen idle and just hook it on the charger… so whenever im back at the phone.. (say about 20-25 min) i clear my snow piles 1ST AND FAST!!!! I GOT APPROX 25 ACORNS AND 21 TOKENS IN 1 DAY!! And off course, the scrat has time to run across the screen to leave his acorn!! try it, let me know your outcome!!!

When I catch Scrat as he runs across the village, he drops an acorn. However that acorn is never added to my count. When I touch it coins appear and are added to my count. Is there any way to collect and keep the acorn?
As far as I know, Scrat only gives you coins and not acorns.
I am at level 60 and it looks like there is no more land available. Am I right? Is this the last level .
