How to get Acorns in Ice Age Village?
In Ice Age Village, You can obtain Acorns by buying it from the premium Shops or by Adding other people in Ice Age Village.
If you finish a collection, you sometimes get acorns or animals. Also, when you add a friend, you get 1 acorn. So if you add a lot of friends, you’ll get a lot of acorns! or, there is always the option to buy them.

I am not a facebook user and I really don’t want to have to sign in to another gaming system(other than my Ipad) so I really don’t know how I will be able to get friends on this game

If you really want to get free acorns just go to buy them than click get free acorns
And see all the way you can get acorns! Or change the date to get the daily bonus for that day, sometimes you can get 10 acorns! If anyone knows another free none downlode way to get acorns just post it!
I can’t get friends either but if you listen to me you will get lots of acorns and coins!
right now I have 38 acorns and 14,784,969 coins! 
plus I’m on level 50!

you get also more acrons/coins for scrat game when you let you phone on with the game running. You will gain more snowmountains. that means more chance for acrons/coins for scrat game. some days i have more than 5 acrons and also 5 or more coins for scrat game
If you are patient and have an android phone then you can get plenty of acorns.
Firstly, as far as possible, leave the game on and your phone charging so that you get loads of snow drifts. I think there is a maximum number, however, so clear them regularly to get more. The more drifts the more acorns and silver tokens you will uncover.
Secondly, before you play kung foo scrat, go to the friend’s map and then back “home”. This has the effect of “saving” your game position.
Now, when you play Kung Foo Scrat, if you don’t get the result you want (I always aim for 10 acorns or more) then immediately press and hold the “home” button to bring up the task manager and kill Ice Age. Because your position was not saved, when you go back into the game, your token will be back and you can play it again.
Finally, if you can, always buy acorn animals when they are on special-offer. I picked up a therapod for 200 rather than 1000, dodo for 120 and 3 chipmunks at 100 each, 3 metri’s etc, etc. That’s well over 1500 acorns saved.
